Master of Puppets

Unfortunately, Mike Anderson’s is a second rate restaurant. Fresh seafood is great, but I tend to enjoy flavor and freshness. Despite the reputation of having fresh seafood, the majority of the fish seems pre-packaged and frozen. Worse than that, there is no south Louisiana heritage in the preparation of these ‘traditional Louisiana dishes’. The restaurant depends on a popular LSU name and second rate food, not to mention the majority of the fish served is Black Drum. To the fish novices, such as I, drum is a wormy, tough fish. So, any diners at Mike Anderson's is definitely not experiencing the true Acadian experience.
