The LSU Football Tigers are once again the BCS National Champions. Yes Tiger fans, we are #1 again! What an exciting end to an amazing college football season. The healthy LSU Tigers got off to a slow start against the Ohio State Buckeyes and trailed early by a score of 10-0. Once they calmed down and got going it was a all LSU and a 38-24 dominating win. LSU QB Matt Flynn took home offensive MVP honors based on a solid four touchdown pass performance.Defensive MVP honors went to Ricky Jean-Francois who blocked a field goal attempt that was a big momentum boost for the Tigers. After that play, it was pretty much all LSU. It was good to win convincingly in order to insure no doubt from the poll voters to have a threat of another team earning the number one spot in the AP poll. This win was good enough that LSU got number one across the board. There is no doubt that LSU is #1 for this season.
Here's a brand new picture below of me and my family with the BCS Championship Trophy at a local car dealership on Saturday January 12th. That was a real treat to have a picture like that and worth the 45 minute wait for sure.
Please take the time to submit a story or comment to my LSU football story section below. I know there are many great stories that people have and I'd love for you to share them with our readers. This site gets a good bit of traffic and I'd like to see this feature be used for the benefit of all Tiger fans. Also, below is my new YouTube video player. The hope is that it will bring up relevant LSU related videos for you to see. The first video that plays is my brand new LSU BCS Champs video that I made myself and posted to YouTube. I hope you like it.
