Google's Movie Listings

I decided to use the Google listings for this page. The movie times and listings are constantly changing. I trust that this resource courtesy of Google will be of help to you when you search for a show to go and see.

I've seen two movies so far this summer of 2008. The first was Narnia- Prince Caspian. I'm a big Narnia fan and though this one was a little different than the first, I was not disappointed. My wife and kids enjoyed it too. My son and I saw Iron Man together and it was really good too. I had my doubts about Robert Downey Jr. as a super hero but he did a great job in the lead role. We even stayed to the very end of the credits to see the teaser for another Iron Man mentioning the Avengers.

My family recently (Feb '08) saw the Spiderwick Chronicles together. It was a good movie but probably too much for my young daughter. The goblins were a bit too scary for her but my son liked it a lot. Overall, a good movie but not for the little kids.

There's no doubt that summer time and movies are a big part of life in the Baton Rouge area. The hot weather and rain sometimes make going to a summer motion picture show a great idea.
